First it was Mahesh Babu who decided to make his debut in Tamil with Vetrimaran's film and now it is Rana Daggubati. Originally, Rana was supposed to do a film with Selvaraghavan but that project was shelved. After that debacle, Rana was listening to a lot of scripts in Tamil but we hear he was very impressed when Tamil director Charan,Autograph fame, narrated a story to him.Rana may just make his debut with this film. Having received his education in Chennai, he speaks Tamil fluently. Rana has also done a Bollywood film. Apparently his target is to create a pan - Indian fan base for himself.
